Damu Leasing
The program is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan

Concessional lending is financing for micro and small business entrepreneurs at a reduced interest rate of 7% to 8% per annum, achieved through interest rate subsidies supported by JSC “Entrepreneurship Development Fund 'Damu”. Under this leasing option, the interest rate starts from 22.10%, while the remaining portion is subsidized by the government, reducing the financial burden on the entrepreneur.
The Damu Fund is a joint-stock company that provides financial support to entrepreneurs under government programs. The Fund does not lend directly to entrepreneurs; instead, its programs are implemented through partner banks.
For IEs: bank statements showing turnover for the last year, identity document, IE registration certificate.
For LLPs: CEO’s identity document, order on the appointment of the CEO, company seal and authorized signatory, bank statements showing turnover for the last year.
For working capital: up to 24 months
For investment purposes: up to 36 months.
Working capital replenishment: up to KZT 5,000,000
Investment: up to KZT 20,000,000.
Leasing is purpose-specific, and upon obtaining the leasing, you must confirm the intended use of the financing by providing documents confirming payment (payment documents) and receipt of assets, works, or services (invoices, delivery notes, etc.):
1. For loans intended for working capital replenishment, within one month after receipt of the loan funds.
2. For loans intended for investment purposes , within two months after receipt of the loan funds.
If the intended use is not confirmed, the entrepreneur loses access to state support and must repay all subsidies previously paid by the Damu Fund under the loan.
Leasing is available to entrepreneurs from all industries, except for:
1.Pawnshops, microfinance organizations, factoring companies, and leasing companies
2.Trade sector projects in cities of republican or regional significance (except for food trade)
3. Projects implemented within the activities specified in Clause 4 of Article 24 of the Entrepreneurial Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
What are the interest rates:
8% (the loan interest rate does not exceed the base rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan + 7 percentage points; of this, the entrepreneur pays 8%, and the remaining portion is subsidized by the government
7% (for projects in mono-towns, small towns, rural areas, and for social enterprises; the loan interest rate does not exceed the base rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan + 7 percentage points, with 7% paid by the entrepreneur and the remaining portion subsidized by the government).
